Creating a script for a Batch process

Basic script creating process

To Create a script :

  1. Open Script Builder

  2. Select application.

  3. Under Commands, find the command you want and click it. (You can also use the search box, to find commands.)

    The command is selected and a short description of it is displayed on the status bar:

  4. Double click the command to add it to the script.

    The command is added and shows with its available parameters on the main panel

  5. Find, select and add the next required command .

    The second command is added and shows with its available parameters on the main panel:

  6. Enter the required parameters.

    Note: Enter only what you need. Not all available parameters must be populated!

  7. Proceed with adding all needed commands:

    All the commands and their parameters appear on the main pane, one after the other.

  8. On the icons bar at the top, in the File Icons group, click Save As:

    The Save As dialog opens.

  9. Browse to the desired location and save your script.

    The script is save as a btf file.

  10. You can now run your script in Marker or PDS

  11. You can also open the saved file in Script Builder to edit it or to use it as a base for a new script.
